When Steve was on Melville Island and we were on the mainland we had the opportunity to go and stay with him the week school was closed. Thus began the first of our many trips back and forward in small 6 seater planes. It is a daunting feeling flying in something that sounds like a lawn mower, and you feel every bump and turn. The kids all think it’s great. Emma is our biggest fan of flying and generally sings from take off to landing.
