Uluru was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. It was very impressive! It is a must see if you really want to experience iconic Australia. We were blown away by its immense size and color.
There were quite a few paintings to be seen on the walls and ceilings of the caves. These paintings were made by the Anangu people as a record of the events of their lives. Their paints were all natural, made with water and ochre, so it’s very important that people don’t touch them. I was surprised at how accessible they were.
